The Labels

Our Electro/Electronica works are released under the banner of Love & Cake Digital (Established Autumn 2009). We aim to deliver a wide range of pioneering and genre defying electronic music from some of the UK’s most exciting new producers. Mashing up styles such as Electro, House, Dubstep, Breaks and Drum ‘n’ Bass, LCD is a mixed bag of computer generated goodness with up-and-coming releases from Lowestoft/London-based Glitchcore maniac BitBasic and our favourite Essex Boy (and Club NME/Club XFM resident) Craig Fury.

Viral Beat Recordings is a digital-only label created in partnership with Aedan Wolton and Liverpool-based producer Kevin Williams [AKA The Prototype]. VBR is home to cutting edge House-infused Dupstep, Drum’n’Bass and Grime styles, creating a mash-up of innovative UK Urban sounds. Dedicated to taking the guerrilla approach, Viral Beat aims to maximise social networking tools and video sharing sites to keep up close and personal with the fans, ensuring the music meets the demands of the record buying public! Forthcoming releases from The Prototype, Zini D, Lanca, Future and Kaiz La Kazie to name but a few!

Sound Assassin Recordings considers itself to be something of a ‘two fingered salute’ in the face of an increasingly generic, not to mention ‘cheesey’ Happy Hardcore scene. Aiming to fuse authentic underground sounds with eardrum-friendly, well-written vocal lines, SAR releases a strikingly original bevy of (digital only) hard dance recordings.
Featuring up-and-coming artists and ‘cult’ heroes of Hardcore alike, SAR has a fine roster of artists and producers ranging from vocal starlet Pearl Blue to techie talents such as Kev Willow, Karl Future, Invader and remix appearances from old skool Trancecore pioneer DJ Fury!
We are also part of the HARDCORE COALITION imprint, a split label project from Dusk Till Dawn, Electronic, Just Another Label, Sound Assassins and Stompin Choonz.
Also part of the Test Pilot stable is Krazy K Productions, a creative outlet for Bristol-based UK Hip Hop, Drum & Bass talent Kader Salih – the one and only Krazy K. Blending agressive rap vocals with Electro-fueled underground UK Hip Hop and Grime vibes, all tinged with a D ‘n’ B style, Kad is bangin’ out the tunes on the live circuit and is due to hit the digital stores in late spring 2011.
