Chase & Status have been rulers of the commercial D’n’B and Dubstep world for sometime now, breaking into the mainstream with tracks like “End Credits” with Plan B and more recently, the storming “Blind Faith” – Not to mention producing for Bajan superstar Rihanna!
Recently, they opened up the doors for lesser known producers and ran a competition to find a remix for their up-and-coming release “Time” featuring Delilah.
..and fuck me, who should win but our very own Scouse production wizard, Kev Willow.
“As soon as we heard Kev Willow’s remix we knew we’d found the winner. We loved the music used in the intro, and the garage / Todd Edwards vibe with the cut up vocals was an original concept for dubstep. It was a different and exciting sounding remix and he really put his own stamp on it.”
